2.I've commented and as you can imagine, I was not polite!

Did you notice though how they ask you for your gender ID or whether you are of the gender you were assigned at birth (but no questions about race or sexuality)?

I suspect this means they will ignore comment from people who are openly trans so all they got from me was 'F'!

I'm damn sure they're not given how many transphobes this lot contain.

Have you noticed not a single comment from any of them about Brianna's murder, or the trial and its outcome and Sunak blankly refusing to talk to her mum?

5) Interesting, thanks. I don't know about my actual temperature but I've come to recognize feeling very warm as a symptom of anxiety/incoming panic attacks (I don't really get shortness of breath which is probably the most well-known symptom). It makes sense that it's associated with depression too.

It does, thank you. Getting to spot subtler symptoms as they happen has made a big difference for me.

Unfortunately the consultation on gender advice for schools is specifically England-only. Otherwise I would have some choice opinions to share (contrary to the transphobic bias of the proposals) ...

WRT (4), I continue to be sadly unsurprised that (in many cases) the same people claiming that their "religious freedom" to discriminate against LGBTQ+ folks is supported by the law are trying to stop people from feeding the hungry, something that is literally in the Bible (many times) as a thing people should be doing.

I'm not surprised that Edinburgh is well below Shetland and the Highlands in funding per head - because per head isn't such a good measure in rural areas. I AM surprised and depressed by how far we are below Glasgow though.

Glasgow is much, much poorer than Edinburgh - at household level, the ONS reckons £7,000 less annual disposable income. Glasgow has lower life expectancy by 8 years or more, around 9 percentage points higher unemployment, and so on. So any elements of funding that are targeted to poverty and deprivation will be higher in Glasgow. Which is not to deny there are massive problems in Edinburgh!

9. 'We feel castrated': the young British men embracing right-wing, misogynistic politics

My dog has actually been castrated and he's very nice and kind, so simply feeling kinda sorta sad is not an excuse.

My cat too. Also, he doesn't roam the streets fighting, looking to get laid, and pissing up walls! I don't think he'd kill kittens because he wanted to fuck mama either.

I'm pretty sure it's not a workable solution for humans, though :-). Selfishly, I kinda like sex with men so I'd rather they were still willing able and interested.

A bit OT:
I can't take anyone seriously that has Jordan Peterson for a hero. Isn't self discipline supposed to be his thing? Man had himself put in a medical coma to quit alcohol so he didn't have to consciously go through withdrawal! (Which, I recall, unsurprisingly, gave him other health issues it took a long while to recover from). I can't respect that at all. I quit 2 decades of heavy drinking just by deciding to (no meds no support groups, but that first wasn't 100% wise and I have no issue with those who need support!). 20 years ago now. Never troubled me a day since. First 2 weeks were a little tough. Nothing I'd swap the issues you get from immobilisation etc. from a coma in order to avoid!

2: Done! Late, but not too late. I even slipped a joke in to lighten the day of the poor so-and-so who has to wade through the bile of transphobes.
