Points 2 and 3...

I don't want to 'go off on one' about 'minimising' language in media reporting, but the word choice of "privacy" is a trivialisation of data safety and the automation of abusive practices by the powerful.

These two cases are not disclosures of private matters into public embarrassment, they are dangerous and abusive and frightening.
