1: How surprising can it be, that there was no user contact - let alone a user advocate - at any stage of the design and development of a 'headline' Tesla product?

It is a fundamental flaw of every Musk organisation, that the management structure is an hierarchy of egotistical individualists who cannot be contradicted or even advised by intimidated subordinates who would be fired for raising an unwelcome fact.
