Monster cat! I wonder how big mine will get? (He sometimes insists on holding my hand with his paw when we go to sleep.... Cute!)

Oh yeah, Jim will curl his paw over my hand and sink in a claw just enough to let me know not to move.

Jim weighs 4¼kg. Quite large for a cat, but not Maine Coon sized by a long way.

My colleague has 3 Norwegian Forest/Maine Coon cross kittens about 2 months old. They are already as big as Felix I think!

Felix was 2.5 kilos a month ago - I would not be surprised if he's 3 now. About 5 maybe 6 months old. Not fat! Long legs. So I think he'll top 4kg. The local tomcat I suspect fathered him is pretty huge.

I was going to say, even knowing about foreshortening, that cat looks huge in the foreground compared to the child.

Cat is quite large (about 4kg). Child is definitely larger and heavier.
