As someone running two "servers" on Discord, I'm wondering how much attention I need to pay to this. Living in Canada, I may need to modify some of the advice.

Thanks for that link. It makes me wonder whether the DMCA (etc) has any reach for sites not based in the US but that involve US users and admins. Codidact is based in the UK and we have a non-profit (CIC) that owns all the things, so that protects me from personal liability, but I've dropped a note to the rest of the board to double-check that we're protected if a user violates someone's copyright and gets caught.
