I booked myself into a company massage. £5 for 20 minutes. It's a seated, fully clothed massage, but I hear they're still well worthwhile. Erin is going to be beyond jealous, she's been moaning about not being able to afford massages for ages and when she finally managed to get one recently it was £35 for an hour.

Now, I wonder what other perks I'm not making use of...

Seated massage on this side of the water goes for about one U.S. dollar a minute.

I find the whole idea of massage pretty creepy. Funny, because I could deal with manipulative phyiso just fine. I suppose its because the aim of phyiso is to fix pain (and it usually causes some too) but the aim of massage is pleasure (am I right?) and that just steps too close to stuff I don't want to be thinking/feeling with total strangers.

I'm not inhibited or anything, I'm just honest with myself.

*snort* I don't think so, bitch. I get a full body, deep muscle rubbing hour. Without clothes, which is just an annoyance. I'll take mine any day.

I think that the point, with most people, is that they think of the masseuse as a massaging machine - entirely impersonally.

I really don't see how they can do that. (though no doubt the masseur/euse thinks in the same way).

I'll stick with exercise, and poking the bits that hurt myself (using tools where I can't reach).
