I watched "Top Gun: Maverick" with a friend who is very keen on fighter planes (she was a big fan of the original, in the antediluvian 1980s), and much of our post-film discussion was i about which country could conceivably have snow, sea access,a potential nuclear weapons programme in violation of any internationl agreement involving NATO (which is a treaty body in itself), and could afford "5th generation" fighters. We decided that the only conceivable candidate was Norway...
