1. Progress of some sort here.

2. How likely is it that Johnson's going to do another "England first!" stunt in reply to this?

3. Wondering why it took so long to actually find such a creature.

4. Good!

I'm amazed at the kids monsters. I drew a lot right into my late teens, and aside from a newt-man and dragons never drew anything half as weird and wonderful as those kids. I wonder if that's just me, or that those kids grew up with way more cartoons and video games with much more creative monsters than I ever saw growing up. I actually can't recall ANY. but I got off picture books really young I think. (I could read at 2.5 started reading shop signs, posters and things like that). I really only recall one picture book - a set of proofs of a French kids book from the printing firm my grandfather worked for (with lovely art). So I'm in awe of those kids imagination!

Maybe it's because cats are long-sighted? Their vision isnt good close to. Or whatever makes them sit in even illusory "boxes" even just marked by corners. Might be that.

I think cats are also less visually oriented. They use their ears a lot. Plus those dogs were running, whereas the cat was just strolling along and had time to investigate...
