Is she helpful like a cat?

Nope, actually helpful. Her fingers are now strong enough to manage the clips, and she loves taking things out and dropping them in the washing basket.

I then have to move the slide to where there's more clothing, because she's not quite strong enough for that. But she can do 2-4 items at each spot.

Concentrating very hard. It's tricky work! :-)

Small children, who can't yet do very much, are often anxious over these questions. "Am I useful at all? Am I competent at anything?" Consequently they're eager to prove that they are, and helping out in ways that are actually helpful is deeply satisfying to them.
