Date: 2021-07-06 01:11 pm (UTC)I think her plan is to wear a mask while actually on transit, if she needs to take a bus or train to get somewhere. (She has friends who have been eager to do her shopping, and drive her to the doctor and dentist, much moreso than a lot of other 90-year-old women.)
I'm in the US, and glad they're still mandating masks on transit--and that people in my area are mostly following that, enough so that I remember the one person who lowered her mask to drink coffee on the bus a couple of days ago. (I don't drive, so this affects my travel anywhere beyond walking distance of home.)
