I suspect it needs to be about hospitalisations rather than case numbers.

Though since even mild cases can lead to long-term effects, one should try to minimise case numbers too. And of course the higher the numbers, the higher the likelihood of serious cases, deaths and nasty mutations.

1. This is an ongoing Problem, isn't it? The UK needs viable alternatives to their local IDU Party (AKA "British Conservatives")...

2. ???

5. Gaming the TOS-violation-reporting systems. My partner on the Local Hero comics project, Ian Gould, seems to get regularly targeted for this on Facebook. I suspect Comicsgaters or other new fascist-adjacent people.

7. Horrific. But then, Putin is going to encourage such behaviour from governments he manages to get installed across the planet, right?

The TSR link isn't working.

I'd heard about Bret Weinstein moving to Odysee, and didn't quite get around to going there, but it's obviously time to sign up.

Never mind the Conservatives as gang warfare, role playing gaming seems like 1920's Chicago.

I am part of the vast global majority that has some degree of lactose intolerance, and as far as I am aware, it can easily be mitigated for most people if they want to, simply by regularly eating small, sensible quantities of dairy products. I eat cheese quite often (my housekeeper makes a very nice pizza Margherita), and we use yoghurt in baking and as a substitute for mayonnaise and creme fraiche in many recipes, and I have no problems. Drinking a bowlful of full-cream milk would undoubtedly upset my stomach, but I have no desire to do something like that, even the thought is slightly nauseating, so it's not as if that is a lifestyle limitation...

Oh dear, how unfortunate! Especially since it's such a big part of the Western diet, rather than just a nice, optional extra.
