Of course, the ongoing attacks against her as already documented were going to be ramped up every time she commits to self-defence in any way. Because that's how bullying works. Self-defence against bullying is to be punished every time or people will start feeling safe from bullying.

Are we all really shocked that the big revelation boils down to "It's a sick system, and I never would've gotten out if I hadn't had my eyes forcibly opened, because when you're immersed in toxic dysfunction you think it's normal"?

I mean, I do my utmost best not to follow news about the British Royal Family (and yet, it sneaks in everywhere) and this seemed obvious to me.
