Date: 2020-06-23 05:29 pm (UTC)That's an excellent description of how animals can be categorised differently. I have to say, although it's a mistake to be confused between "closely related animals" and "similar niche animals", I think both are reasonable concepts to have words for.
Why shouldn't we have a word for "aquatic vertebrate"? :)
