I always enjoy the stories about the rich finding a place to hide away from the unloved unwashed (remember floating cities?) Who do they think makes the beds, deveins the shrimps, aerates the wine, launders the shorts, recycles the plastics? Somebody is flying that private jet, and somebody is stowing the coats for the journey.

Maybe you can draconianly test all your staff - but can you control all the people they need to engage with?

And you can quarantine your staff - but most will insist on bringing in their family members, or will refuse to come. And if they bring their immediate family members, each family member will also have have their own family members they want to be with. And either you tell a staff member that they must tell their spouse they must abandon their mother-in-law, or you end up with a population the size of a small country.

You can kidnap staff and have your guards hold them in your compound at gunpoint, but even so your guards will have loved ones.
