Religious I Can Discriminate Bill
Date: 2019-12-17 06:07 am (UTC)As a side note I will add that the protections apply only to viewpoints expressed in line with an officially recognised religion in Australia (ie something that has been officially proclaimed as a religion by the Governor General in his role as the representative of the Head of State). So, for example, the Church of Satan has no standing under the act as it is not a recognised religion (as is the case of every pagan and almost every alt-religious group).
