It’s only a vote of no confidence in May that’s impending. It won’t become a leadership challenge unless she loses it, which seems relatively unlikely.

Yeah. I really want to do better about being FOR things, and not letting the terrible right wing populist talking points determine the agenda, but it's hard to stay focused.

Scenario: Vote of confidence in May. Probably she wins, because of what would happen next if she loses. If she loses: leadership election, which occupies a month or two of everybody's time which would be better spent on something else. And she wins, because nobody can agree on who would replace her. (Boris? Don't be silly: Who else would want him?) Then they're stuck with her.
