"98.6 Degrees Is A Normal Body Temperature, Right? Not Quite"

The results of the study fit me completely. Normal temp at 36.5C and fever-like symptoms starting at 37.4C or less. Thanks for the link!

Surely if you had a tempreture of 98.6 degrees you'd have either boiled inside your own skull or be completely frozen.

It's a hell of way to go.

It wasn't the heat that got him, or the cold, but that pedantic Unit of Measurement Metric System is viscous.

I presume we're making ponderous measuring-system jokes here? The article did say "F" after the first temperature given in its text.

Ponderous jokes? Nah, it's too hot / cold for that.

The sarcastic article on Louis C.K. - and it's a good sarcastic article, entirely on point - refers to him as "the man who made an art form out of masturbation jokes."

Serious question here, because I'm unfamiliar with his work and had barely heard of him before the scandal broke: to what extent is that description true? I've seen other implications that his humor suggested it shouldn't have been surprising that he'd turn out to be the kind who'd jerk off in front of unwilling women. If so, that kind of implies something about those fans who so desperately want him back.

Thanks. From this it'd seem that the negative implications from his humor are more ex post facto than "obvious warning signs."

I was wondering because of similar implications drawn from Bill Cosby, whose work I did know. Part of what made the Cosby revelations so disturbing was his previous reputation for "clean," family-friendly humor. But much was made of an early routine of his about rape drugs ("Spanish fly"). However, it seemed to me the warning quality of this was diluted by Cosby saying nothing specific about what the drugs did, and that the punchline of the routine was that however legendary the drugs might be, nobody had any.

I should probably start a webcomic from scratch if I'm going to do anything useful about this. Soon.
