Date: 2018-08-13 01:34 am (UTC)back in the day I had a job at a hardware store with an early point-of-sale system, where you entered the stock number via tenkey. I got practiced enough that I was entering numbers faster than it could switch pages, and therefore accidentally registered the wrong source of payment for each transaction I ran. Took the owner four hours one evening to figure out why the drawers wouldn't balance.
