All of the people (so far) who have said that they are driven completely insane by apostrophe misplacement are.... female.

I have no further opinion on this matter.

It bugs me because even stupid people were getting it right up to about 5-8 years ago, and now even clever people get it wrong and it gets into advertising campaigns (the type that are on teh side of buses etc).

It's not even confusing, for god's sake! (except in the case of "it's" (it is) and "its" (belonging to it), of course, but that's abother matter). Plurals don't need an apostrophe!

I never pull people up for typos (unless they are amusing). I can tell the difference between bad spelling and bad typing (as I have the latter problem in spades but not the former).

I have the little sake flask and all the sushi/sashimi plates and nice wooden chopsticks (with the pointy ends) and everything.

Hmmm I spot a plan! I shall see what my fish van has on offer tomorrow/saturday - it's always very fresh and he sometimes has stuff like horse mackerel very cheap.
