A large chunk of my job consists of editing and proofing text and pre-print documents. Any abuse of spacing and grammar makes me nuts now. I find myself randomly checking signs and posters in the street for errors. I can't pick up a magazine or a newspaper and read an article without mentally proofing it, and looking at the layout and wondering why they did it that way...

I'm sure there's therapy I can sign up for.

Apostrophes confuse me.

I am ok with other grammar tho, I think. I am often correcting peoples spelling/grammar. Altho I'm lazy about it anyway and often type in an almost text-speak kinda way.

Any apostrophes missing here then?

I don't find it annoying in that sentence, because it's obvious that you're doing it on purpose. It only annoys me to the extent that it reminds me of instances where apostrophes are used truly inexpertly.

Happened to come across you on friends' friends, so I thought I'd better add a male who gets driven utterly insane. :-P

Wedge me somewhere between "insane" and "mildly irked." The extra-apostrophe thing in general tick's me off a lot more than people who don't use apostrophe's at all, because it seem's like some people think any word ending in an "s" really need's an apostrophe, and that result's in a lot more stupidity than the accidental leaving out of the occa'sional punctuation mark.
