Your man Paul Denholm is clearly the expert whilst I am just an amateur but his 80% renewable penetration with little sweat feels like the right number. It's going to take us a couple of decades to get there. By then we'll know more about all sorts of things.

He's right to be more exercised about the seasonal storage needs for the last 20%.

I hope the nuclear industry takes the hint that the market it should be aiming to supply is the support for the last 20%.
