Thank you for the AI link! Glad to see the honest take after attending a 1-day AI conference that was ignoring everything in that article. It felt like visiting Wonderland or Oz, and not in a good way.

Luxury pricing -- or rather, the way that price affects perceived value -- is something I have to grapple with professionally. If I don't charge enough, potential clients assume that I can't give them a high-quality product.

That distinction between "I'm too expensive" and "you can't afford me" is a real challenge when I was providing a service to people who didn't have a lot of money. I found it felt very different to charge $20/session than to charge $40 for most sessions, and do a few sliding scale or free (but be very clear that "this is a $40 service that I am donating."

"The bottleneck has never been typing speed."

Thank the Lords of Kobol (or COBOL??) for that!! I type woefully slowly, badly and breaking my righ thand in a motorbike crash in 2011 didn't help. I makes me think more to minimise what I have to type :-) Or so I think.
