I think the difficulites of moving very quickly from where wer are now to a world of complete free movement of people are pretty clear but I have optimism about things like the African single market. I'd favour more regional or continental free movement zones and then finding ways to increase trade and free movement between those zones. I think this will strike a workable balance between the economic growth and poverty restriction aspects of free movement with the risks associated with very rapid migration.
