Back from dinner (was lovely - Khi/Bekka hadn't heard the news, so me and Erin didn't say anything and played nice all evening). Rather nice, and I must eat at Frankensteins again, if only for the desserts. The decor is fabulous, and the tv showing the original movie on loop was a nice touch.

No, we'd heard, but what could we say? We just wanted to have a nice dinner with our friends. It seemed tactless to bring it up.

It always looked pretty nice/expensive from outside and I almost never go out to eat (or drinking).

It is one of the coolest pubs. The lunch menu is really nice too. Do they still lower Frankenstein from the roof to organ music in the upstairs bar half way through the night? < not been there in ages - want to go -- NOW!

Didn't see that, but they do have a large contraption surrounded by cool goth-tech. So that could be it.
