Aren't most countries' trailers better than the US trailers, though?

I remember a DVD I have of The Usual Suspects having a bit where John Ottman, soundtrack composer and artist, talked about how proud he was of the US trailer for, ahem, The Usual Suspects.

The same DVD, being as it was region 2 in English language, had the UK trailer. Which pissed royally all over the US trailer.

Yes, it looks better, mainly because it has fewer 'comic Scots' moments (and I speak as someone who is half English and half German in origin and all English in loyalties.) It also seems to be riffing a bit on Princess Mononoke.

I'm kind of ambivalent, really. The US trailer is more enjoyable; the Japanese trailer is more serious and gives a bit more story. I'd see it either way. :)
