Are you sure about this? I mean I know that Lou Reed is about heroin, just sort of generally, but it feels like a real stretch to read this into the actual lyrics. This piece from the Independent doesn't make me any more convinced. '"You made me forget myself. I thought I was someone else, someone good." The "you" in the song is heroin' - really? He went to a movie with heroin, and then went to feed the animals at the zoo, with heroin? 'If you understand the song as about drugs, it [the lyric "You're going to reap just what you sow"] makes perfect sense.' Actually... no, it makes even less sense. At least, as far as I can tell? Heroin is going to reap what it sows??
