Context is the discussion here where someone is completely failing to explain to me what they mean by the term.

It seems that slightly more than 50% of my friends list agree with me on the meaning of the word "red".

And none of the dictionary definitions I just looked at talk about perceptions, or experiences. They all treat "red" as a thing.

So clearly a fair chunk of people do define it that way, and mean it that way.

But if you're happy to stop there, that's fine.
