It occurs to me that I can't see Dropbox from work, which leads to things like not being able to see the screenshot on my entry here. If I can't see that, chances are that some of you can't either.

At the moment I tend to use Photobucket to host photos gacked from other sites, and Dropbox for screenshots from my PC. I don't know if anyone has Photobucket blocked from work - but it would be nice to know what will make it easiest to view any images I post.

Is there a downside to hosting your photos with LJ? If people can view LJ, I'd guess that they can also view LJ-hosted photos.

I think I got out of the habit when it wasn't working well, but you're right, I'll give that a go!

No strong preference between Photobucket or Dropbox. I use Dropbox a lot myself but not for personal image hosting, I tend to use Flickr for that.
As it happens, I can see the image in that linked entry perfectly fine. I am however noticing the embedded YouTube videos aren't showing up in my view of your LJ entries, and I'm having to go to the Dreamwidth entries they are cross-posted from to see them. Loved the Intel ad.

Just blank. My browser doesn't appear to be connecting to lj-toys.com. Can't ping lj-toys.com when I try that. May be related to the network equipment issues LJ said they were still having.

LJ would be fine, or Flickr. But I have both dropbox and photobucket blocked at work.

For me, LJ is blocked, but Flickr and DW aren't. Think Dropbox is as well, will have to check Photobucket.

I can see your pics. Though the suggestion to use LJ seems a bit problematic given it's current unease of access.
