Pangolin, definitely. Individual spikes rather than bands. Also, I don't think armadillos roll up?

That's what I figured. But apparently Nintendo think it's armadillo-like. I'm shocked at their inaccuracy.

I'd like to make it very clear that I don't consider that creature to look _anything_ like a penguin!
