It's the middle class that's future oriented with their delayed gratification and all. The lower and upper classes don't give much of a fig about tomorrow, since it's going to be the same anyway.

Absolutely. When you get down to it it's nearly all interpretation, and if you work at it hard enough you can adjust an awful lot of that interpretation.
