Ok. So now I want the next season of Game of Thrones.
I shall probably get around to the first book soon. But I'm going to hold off of reading ahead of the TV series, because (from my understanding) the books are massively more detailed, so I'm gaining a lot from watching then reading, whereas the other way round wouldn't be as effective.
Also, either way around I'm going to have to wait about 8 years to find out how it ends.

Date: 2011-06-22 07:52 pm (UTC)I very much want to know what happens next. I think I shall seek out the books. Not sure whether I want to read faster than the tv or not. I suspect I shall get to the end of the first book and then get impatient for what happens next and get ahead.

Date: 2011-06-23 09:28 am (UTC)The show is much better, and aside from some of the handicaps of the medium (show length, accurate visual translation without an infinite budget, etc), it's the way the books should have been.
