Date: 2011-05-04 10:09 pm (UTC)'For every good idea someone has at Microsoft, there will be ten people immediately trying to kill it'
little did I know this is almost literally the case. I said it in jest about the Courier tablet, which fell to said curse. I'm now wondering if Kinect is suffering the same fate: some MS Exec doesn't like it, so countless projects are being slaughtered as sacrifices to epic failure.
this would explain why MS manage to spend phenomenal amounts of R&D money on not producing very much interesting technology. 90% of it ends up on the lab floor.
[that is not to say MS don't produce incredible things. They do. Just nowhere near enough of it for the cash and talent they possess]

Since cars suck, I'm going to mostly host Smarts and EV with solar charging docks, and a bloody huge section for bike parking. And the entire surface will be grass, with lots of trees. I do not care how many cars can fit in the space. Hopefully not very many'
I was pleasantly surprised to get 83%.
the Development Stage report is due Friday, but I haven't designed it or written the report yet.
