*sigh*

Current predicted weather for tomorrow is a low of -3 (weather.com), -8 (Met Office) or -11 (The BBC).

I do wish they'd make their minds up.

Further down the line, my parents are supposed to be arriving in The Borders in 6 days. Streets are currently drivable, but I'm really hoping that we don't get 5 feet of the white stuff between now and then...

The BBC seem to have just added weather.com to the Met Office figure and forgotten to divide by two to get the mean. Kind of says it all about BBC journalism these days :)

yeah, I've been watching XC-Weather, The Met Office and BBC Weather all this week and they've all said very different things - the met office also seems to contradict itself. I think this must be a difficult bunch of weather to predict!

We have a gig Saturday and it's forecast snow from now til then with extra heavy and 20-odd mph winds on the day itself. I HOPE THEY ARE WRONG!

In good news, I just did the shopping today, so there is not much need to go out if it is truly horrible.

Here in the SF Bay Area we're supposed to get rain for five days starting tomorrow.

IF they are right, (and they're so often wrong,) this means a major rain storm for us Northern Californians.
