Aligator, nor croc. The video was shot in Louisiana (the "LA" on the boat registration is a clue), and if you look at the snout of the 'gator it's broader than a croc's.

Also the guys on the soundtrack refer to them as alligators. That was my clue.

That was my thought also: that the alligator wasn't actually intimidated at all, but was choosing to back into the water for a tactical advantage...

I'm guessing this is an alligator farm by the way people in the background are acting. So the cats are probably something the 'gators are used to and don't view as food-or they ate recently and are not hungry. Either way, it's still stupid to let 'gators get that close to other animals or people...
