I just spent about an hour swearing, a lot.

The game will kill you for any imperfection, but you get a save point about every 50 feet, so you don't feel so bad for having to try the same damn thing 30 times before you make it through.

see, this is why games do not interest me much. doing a finicky thing 30 times in a row without success is pretty much the opposite of my definition of a good time.

I think it's the release of frustration that comes with succeeding at something. If I'm going to beat something then I want it to be a challenge. It's finding the right level of challenge that's easy enough to beat before frustration kicks in, but not so easy that you don't get that kick out of it.
