Congratulations, you've finally unearthed an earworm to shift the Within Temptation / Type O Negative songs I've had in my head all week. Admittedly I'm not sure wandering round singing "Fuck the motherfucker" to myself is a better plan but at least it's a change.
you dont need a new computer, you need an xbox360. you'd never catch me recommending the Ps3, (and I had one on day of release in Asia and there is one in the house)
In hardware, I agree; the PS3 and the Wii are more reliable, and in theory the PS3 is the most powerful of this generation of consoles. In software, though, the 360 has more titles that interest me than all its competitors combined... and the network experience is vastly better, even if it does cost ~$5USD/month.
-- Steve's had one Xbox conk out on him, but the free replacement arrived in a week. *shrug*.
PS: I am a tad biased, though, being a died-in-the-wool Bungie fanatic. YMMV.
I need a new computer at some point, because I play games online with friends, and some of them can get pretty jerky (L4D, for instance).
And I've played FPS games with a controller, and with a mouse/keyboard, and I vastly prefer mouse/keyboard. Is there any way to do that on a 360? If not, I'll be sticking to a PC for them.
Tim Minchin is amazing. I love how genuinely angry he gets about stuff. So many comics these days are too cool to be genuinely bothered about stuff.
Oxytocin spray produces significantly higher emotional empathy levels in men I feel a spoof PSA video that will never be made coming on - a dark street, a women walking alone, a man jumps out at her, pushes her roughly against a wall, she fights, struggling with her handbag, eventually pulling out a spray and getting him square in the face. Mace? He staggers back, hands over his face, crying out in... no, not physcial pain - he pulls his hands away and his eyes are clear, but... filled with tears?

"I'm so sorry," he says. "I'm so, so sorry."
