We seem to have confused ourselves
Feb. 12th, 2011 09:42 pmSo, this evening we went out to
diotina's birthday party.
This turned out to be a problem, because it's not on until next week.
We have _no_ idea why we thought it was this week. Her actual birthday is tomorrow, but the party is clearly in our calendars for _next_ week.
Nevertheless, it wasn't until we were standing outside her flat wondering why it was all dark in there did we think to look more closely at the facebook event, and wonder what the fuck we'd been thinking when Julie forced an extra few painkillers and a glass of wine into herself so that she could face going outside, and I dragged her onto a bus to the other side of the city in the freezing cold.
Still, good practice for the actual party next weekend, when there will be less drunken rugby fans to contend with.

I endorse this review
Feb. 12th, 2011 11:59 pmJulie and I have been playing Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light multiplayer. It's lots of fun, good cooperative puzzle solving and combat. It's isometric view, nicely inventive, and keeps us both on our toes. She's not a big combat fan, but still manages to die less often in battle than I do. Recommended.
