Conflicted thoughts on the US elections

1) I bet we're all going to be horribly disappointed when he doesn't solve world peace, world hunger, the oil problems, etc. overnight
2) Yay! Woo! YES!!!!! *punches the air*
3) I got up at 6:30 to go to the toilet, checked the news on my laptop in the living room (to avoid waking Julie) and was then so excited it took me 45 minutes to get back to sleep.

Working hours

I used to have a 90 minute commute and work 8:30-5:30. I didn't like that much, so nowadays I live 20 minutes from work and work 10:00-5:30 (with a half hour lunch break). Apparently this is doing quite well...

• China will impose a personal income tax of 20% on profit from virtual money.
  The announcement, which was distributed to local tax bureaus, specifically takes aim at those who buy virtual currency from gamers and surfers and sell it to others at a mark-up. Taxation officials are granted the right to determine the original price of online virtual currency if the individual fails to provide proof of an original price, it says.
