Awake!
Other words beginning with A!
Should really be packing - and not reading http://mil-millington.com/ while giggling to myself!
Also, copying music onto le iPod, as I'm bored of the hundreds of hours that were already on it. Good Lord I'm a fickle son of a bitch sometimes. Still, I'm finally getting In Rainbows onto it, so I can be caught up with what the rest of the free world was listening to 6 months ago. Vaguely hoping it's all going to fit, as I'm also copying on a bunch of Muse, Pink Floyd and Smashing Pumpkins. Frankly I don't think that having 8,000,000,000 bits on a teeny device I can lose in my pocket is enough - I demand that the magical future fairies bring me a 16GB version ASAP.
It really is amazing how fast the impossible becomes the future becomes commonplace.
Right. Really must do that packing.
I seem to be feeling a fair bit better. Still have to sleep sitting up, but was only kept awake for half an hour of last night by the hacking cough, so I'm hopeful that soon I'll be just dandy. The brain's been working since Wednesday though, so I've been back at work since then. Where I had my yearly review, which was so good that I've been having to resist the urge to copy/paste bits of it into Livejournal under the subject line of "I Am A Golden God." (which, by the way, is a quote from one of my favourite films).
Once I reach Devon (tonight) I strongly suspect that my internet connectivity will be at the least reduced by having to fight the rest of my family for it. So I hope you all have a lovely time twixt now and Familymas.
Right, reached dangerous levels of rambliness. Packing awaits.
