Sunday of tech and vampires

A few days ago I set up thishardenedarm with Wifi in his flat.
This morning I got tisme set up likewise.
And then afterwards went round to marrog and adrenalineanima's place for the Buffy game season finale and while I was there got their WiFi reset up (it was kinda working, but they'd lost the password, so they couldn't change the frequency and it was conflicting with their neighbours).
Fortunately, the latter two systems were dead easy to get working. thishardenedarm's was a pain, but I'm fairly sure that that was because both ADSL cables he had were dodgy.

The Buffy finale was fun, if not terribly final - there are being bits of mystery held over to the next tranche of games, including who exactly took off the top of time_for_tea's head (and then put it back on again), and what the Vampires in town have going on with thorn11. But that will have to wait until all the players are back in town again...

Back of fag-packet calculations

Have just spent 30 seconds playing with Excel, and discovered that on the 29th of September 2008 I will have lived half my life in Scotland.

I thought it was this year, which goes to show my maths skills aren't what you'd hope of the employee of large financial company.

In any case I now have a year to think of some way of celebrating this.
