I went to see the LOTR exhibition at the Science Museum in London yesterday. An amazing collection of costumes and artefacts from the film, complete with maquettes, weapons, mockups and various background props. There are also a lot of the small 'making of' bits from the Extended Edition Fellowship DVD. The exhibition was originally put together after FOTR came out, but before Two Towers EE was available, so there's a lot of stuff from FOTR, some stuff from TT and nothing I could see from ROTK.

It was, to put it mildly, incredible, and I spent two happy hours wandering around it, seeing how everything was put together, and marvelling at the intricate detail on everything.

It's on until the 11th of January, and if you haven't seen it, you should.

Doom!

Just checked the exchange rates for 120 days and the year for the Dollar versus the Euro. doesn't look good the dollar.

The Pound seems to be holding up against the Euro (and doing well against the dollar).

Which means that the gains on the US stock exchange are meaningless, because the dollars that have been gained there are cancelled out by the fact that the dollars themselves are worth less...
