That exercise article also said "among those who were already overweight at the start there was no relation between exercise and weight gain".

I don't expect that finding will get as much airplay.

Interesting comment in the prostitution article:

“Criminalisation of kerb-crawling, to take one example, is harmful to sex workers because ultimately they are the ones who suffer,” said Nine, a former support worker for Edinburgh prostitutes. “Sex workers who still need to make their money are faced with doing business with clients they would ordinarily have rejected."

Supposing prostitution were to be legalised, what requirements would be placed on prostitutes as service providers? When would it be okay to refuse a client and when could it be discriminatory?

I'm thinking of something like the situation in the US porn industry, where it's been determined that the performers having sex with one another are not engaging in prostitution because no money is being exchanged between them. But some non-black female performers will refuse to do 'inter-racial' with black men because they claim it can be bad for their careers with southern racists. Obviously that is more in the open / public, however...
