End of season 1 of Skins

Okay, so that was blisteringly amazingly good.

We'll start season 2 this week sometime. I hear season 3 wasn't as good though.

Don't you believe it. Season 3 was every bit as good, IMO; it's just that the complete change of cast throws some people.

Believe it. Series 3 saw a massive, massive drop in quality. Part of the problem is that they hardly included anybody likeable in the cast; part is that the dynamics among the new cast are largely dull and don't make much sense; part seems to be just a lack of really good ideas. That said, I did still watch it to the end; it improved as it went, and the first couple of episodes of 4 have been less awful than most of 3. I'm still not sure whether to bother watching the rest.

2 is still great though.
