Looks like Avatar is going to scrape in at 20th most successful film of all time, a whole 14 places behind Titanic.

I wonder if James Cameron's next film will also be declared a flop in advance before pulling in more money than a small country. Three for three would be pretty funny.

But where will it finally end up? By the time Oscar season is over and it's back in the news (and hence back in the cinema). $700 billion? $750? $800?
And how much worldwide? And why doesn't box office mojo have a worldwide adjusted all time list? (though doing some simple calculations it would have to hit $3 billion to beat it).

I might go and see it again myself. And sit right down the front. Or in an IMax.
