It's currently -16 in the Highlands, and -6 at Edinburgh airport. The worst road conditions in 20 years, apparently.

I left my heating on low. I hope it's still working...

I was mostly worried about the boiler going out. I assume it hasn't done that, which is great!

Boiler's all good and flat's dead toasty.

As for alcohol, you really don't need to. It's no prob to just drop in a couple of times and check it, specially as it's on the way home anyway.

Ironically the roads are absolutely fine. No problems to and from Glasgow tonight.
