thanks to sarahs_muse you can now see how to cut together a Prodigy track from bits and pieces of other songs. Fascinating if you've never seen this kind of thing before.
electronic music is rubish right? i mean all we do is get a computer to take other peoples music, cut it to ribbons, mangel it, painstakingley extract the parts of it which can operate in a derivitive whole compleetly recompose to a vision almost totally alien to the origional sound and then use a huge collection of instruments effects and tools to create the bits which go between the samples... q e d?
(flamebait ascide this is a mamoth reverse engineering job and i hope the kids origional work pairs his quite startiling skill with equal measures of innovation)
