Planet Of The Dead: Bad. Just dull. The plot is the usual deus ex machina and there's no interesting character bits to make it interesting.
Waters Of Mars: Good. Not Great, but very watchable. The plot is generic but servicable, and the character stuff was a lot more watchable. I enjoyed this one enough to be looking forward to the final two-parter.

Woohoo. Looks like BBC America is showing Waters of Mars on the 19th, The End of Time, Part One on the 26th, and I'd guess that means they'll show Part Two on the 2nd.

Happy we get caught up too!

And I didn't think Planet of the Dead was entirely bad. The bus was fun.

I rather enjoyed The Next Doctor special. Yeah, it had those bloody boring CyberMen, but the story and the very nice big stompy robot at the end made up for it.

The feel of the whole fourth season was ruined for me by that horrid SuperTemp woman. Awful choice for a sidekick.

I found both to be pretty dire plotwise: go there, see stuff, run back. There's no development at all.

Oh sure, chuck in zombies and you're happy. That's what they all say! ;)

Should I abandon my hopes for next season with Moffat at the helm?
