Pancake Sunday

Pancakes for breakfast today. Julie made some with splenda for me as an experiment - and they were great! And she even selflessly made them before she made her own (sugary ones). Which means that it was terribly unfair karma for her to sneeze while eating one five minutes later and end up with pancake in her nasal passages.

Apparently this is not recommended.

See, to my mind, and my recipe, pancakes never have sugar IN them. The sugariness (if required) is supplied by the jam/syrup/sauce. This is talking crepes or similar, of course. But even drop scones I don't make with sugar IN. Never have. Wouldn't occur to me.
