RBS (boo! hiss!) used to have photocards - your picture was laser-etched onto the card, adding extra security in the days before chip+PIN.

It wasn't much publicised, but they had a special deal whereby transexuals and transvestites could have two cards with different photos, depending on the identity they were choosing whilst using the card.

That is a great advert, though.
