Rashomon is nice, but if you haven't seen Primer, then that's the one I'd advice. But don't have anything else planned - this is a movie that requires the concentration of a textbook - and you may want to watch it twice.

I've seen Primer, and I liked it, but I wasn't blown away by it. I kinda felt that the latter bits of the film were overly confusing, although this worked well at getting over how confused the characters were.
